Springboard

The Springboard Centre is located on the bottom floor of the humanities building beside the SEND department.

It offers temporary education placements to students who find learning in a mainstream secondary school extremely challenging due to difficulties with physical mobility, communication and/or SEMH difficulties relating to anxiety. 

It is staffed full-time by specialist members of staff who work closely with subject teachers to ensure a full curriculum is provided, with additional teaching from subject teachers. Kingdown School's Senior Leadership Team oversee and support Springboard
