Springboard
The Springboard Centre is located within our Welfare Hub, in our school library.
It offers temporary and longer term education placements to students who find learning in a mainstream secondary school extremely challenging due to difficulties with physical mobility (either through injury, accident or SEN), Communication and Interaction and/or difficulties relating to anxiety.
It is staffed full-time by one specialist teacher who works closely with subject teachers to ensure a full curriculum is provided. Kingdown School's Senior Leadership Team oversee and support Springboard.
