The Transition Programme and Induction Days

Each year, between March and July, we work closely with your child’s primary school and Year 6 teacher to decide which Tutor and Teaching group will be most appropriate for your child.

To help with this process, your child will spend three days participating in an Induction Programme at Kingdown School in July, when they will get to know the school and experience some Key Stage 3 lessons.
