Kingdown School 6th Form Achieves Strong A Level Results Again! 

 

Kingdown School would like to congratulate the fantastic Year 13 students on a great set of results. These results reflect their hard work and dedication throughout their studies in Kingdown School Sixth Form and also the support and encouragement from their families; and furthermore the excellent teaching and guidance from the school’s teachers. This year group have been an amazing group of young people who have significantly contributed to the life of Kingdown School and been tremendous role models to their peers.  

Helen Carpenter, headteacher said: ‘This is another strong year for our Sixth Formers and their results despite the turbulence of recent years and return to pre-covid grade boundaries, and we know they reflect a lot of hard work and dedication from students and teachers alike. We are very proud of all our students’ achievements and wish them every happiness and success in their future lives and careers as they go on to university and apprenticeships.’  

Just a few of the many results of note for Kingdown School students are:  

·       Amelia Holt who achieved A*, A*, A* and is going to Exeter University to study Biochemistry 

·       Charlotte Henley who achieved A*, A*, A and is going to Southampton University to study Medicine  

·       Luke Brichard-Parsons who achieved A*, Di*, B, and is going to pursuing a Digital Marketing Apprenticeship with Transform Communications. 

·       Matt Wardell who achieved A*, A, B and is going to Aberystwyth University to study History   

·       Ollie Willis who achieved A, A, A and is going to Exeter University to study Law 

·       Holly Pearce who achieved A*, A*, A and is going to Cardiff University to study Neuroscience
