A welcome message from Mrs Edwards, Headteacher at Kingdown School.

I hope everyone has had a good break and is ready for the return to school.

The new uniform looks extremely smart. Thank you to all parents for your support in ensuring your son/daughter is wearing the correct uniform.

These are amazing results for a truly comprehensive school and I am immensely proud of all the students.  This success is down to the hard work and dedication of the students and staff and the support of the parents.

These results conclude an outstanding year at Kingdown as we also achieved:

  • Our highest attendance figure  ever – 94%
  • The Investors in People Gold Award which is only   awarded to the top 2% of all business organisations nationally.

The assessor for Investors in People said that Kingdown was the best school he has ever assessed.
