Last weekend, five Kingdown teachers completed their Hill and Moorland Leader training course on Dartmoor.

Miss Byham, Miss Keeling, Miss Peddle, Mr Blizzard and Mr Pemberton had real determination to keep going until 11pm on Saturday night practising night navigation on the notorious Dartmoor bog in the ‘Tor-rential’ rain.

Pictured on the Tor at the top of High Willhays, the highest point in Southern England, it’s hard to get an appreciation of the 70mph gusts we were experiencing. A huge thanks to Pete Goldsmith for providing the course. #DLOG
